Salzburg

Yesterday, I have been to Salzburg, a little city in Austria. You might maybe know it from the film"The Sound of Music". The center is really beautiful with all its old little houses and small streets.
Considering that Salzburg is not a big city, there are really quite wide range of good shops including a really wonderful ESCADA boutique offering quite a lot of these amazing evening dresses, a little Hermès, a Bally store, a small Louis Vuitton bouitque. The most ineresting local store however is"Madl" selling traditional Austrian clothes, the so called "Dirndl" for example, which are really portable and chic and don't make you look ridiculous. As the world famous classical music festival is hold in these days, it is very interesting to look at the people when they enter the concert hall. Regarding the high prices of the tickets you might expect that the visitors are wealthy enough to afford the best dresses and suits. It is true, I have seen a lot of very well dressed people, but definitely not all!!! There were really numerous people dressed like a catastrophe!!!!
